We are continually working with suppliers and manufacturers and are continually striving for increases in productivity and reliability. Our Company was instrumental in the design and trialling of the first reversible seats in skidders.
Our advanced knowledge in chipping and logging is demonstrated by various flail chain trials and has seen the development of a new square flail chain which is showing exceptional results in flailing ability and chain wear.

L. V. Dohnt and Company has been working consistently with flail and chipper manufacturers and has been the first contractors in the South East to implement a stand alone 4 flail debarker. Use in this machine is demonstrating a capability of higher productivity in both blue gum and whole tree pine debarking.
Our management of various interests also incorporates 25 hectares of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, which is well managed and is contracted into premium quality wines each year.
